Andy Hament represents management in all areas of employment and labor law. He is certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Labor and Employment Law.

He regularly advises private and public sector employers in discipline and discharge, reductions-in–force, collective bargaining, union grievance/arbitrations, discrimination issues, sexual harassment investigations, executive employment and severance agreements, trade secret and non-compete issues, drug abuse and drug testing, the Family and Medical Leave Act and violence in the workplace.

Andy regularly represents employers in state and federal courts and in investigations and charges before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Florida Commission on Human Relations, the U.S. Department of Labor, the National Labor Relations Board and the Florida Public Employees Relations Commission.

Earlier in his career, Andy was in-house labor counsel to Harris Corporation, where he handled all the company's domestic and international employment, labor and benefits law matters for 30,000 employees worldwide. While at Harris he also served for several years as Harris' European Counsel based in Brussels, Belgium.

Andy is the past President of the Academy of Florida Management Attorneys. He also previously served on the board of directors of the United Way of Brevard County, where he co-chaired the Leadership Giving Council, as well as on the board of directors of the Easter Seals of Brevard and Bridges, Inc., human services agencies which provide support services to individuals with developmental disabilities. He is a former member of the board of trustees of the Holy Trinity Academy. He is a past president of the South Brevard Society for Human Resource Management and currently serves as its legislative chair.

Chris is a published author and national speaker on the subject of employee engagement and retention.  He co-authored the book “Talent Keepers: How to Engage and Retain Great People” published in 2017.

Chris has over 25 years of experience in the HR industry, specializing in employee engagement, selection, assessment and retention.  Chris co-founded TalentKeepers in 2000, an organization dedicated to the issue of employee engagement and retention.  TalentKeepers products have twice been recognized as “Top Training Products of the Year” by Human Resource Executive Magazine.


Prior to co-founding TalentKeepers, Chris was the Vice President of Business Development for AlignMark, a division of Thomson Rueters.


Chris is a member of the American Psychological Society and an Associate Member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.  He holds a BS degree in Psychology from the Florida State University, and a MS degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Central Florida.

Avish graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1995, created, managed, and directed Polywumpus Improv Comedy from 1996-2002, and currently performs, teaches, and directs improv with Full Circle Theater. Avish is an active member of the National Speakers Association, Toastmasters, and the Network of Indian Professionals. When not speaking, Avish reads, writes, plays basketball, and has been known to make a short film or two...

Louis Wilson regularly assists employers on a wide range of matters, from providing advice and guidance on day-to-day labor and employment law issues to representation in complex employment litigation matters. 

Louis has extensive experience assisting organizations with drafting employment contracts and non-compete agreements, developing personnel policies and practices, conducting workplace trainings and investigations, and carrying out separations and reductions-in-force.  Louis also regularly represents employers in federal and state court and before administrative agencies, with a particular focus in breach of contract, discrimination, FMLA, wage/hour and whistleblower matters.  Additionally, Louis has a broad range of experience representing management in traditional labor matters, including providing legal advice in connection with union organizing campaigns and representation in labor arbitration and unfair labor practice charge proceedings. 

Over the course of his legal career Louis has advised and represented clients involved in a variety of industries and sectors, including companies involved in the financial services, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, restaurant and retail industries, as well as a number of public employers and government contractors.  He is a member of the firm's Global Legal Services practice group, as well as its Healthcare and Restaurant practice groups. Earlier in his career Louis was an attorney in the labor and employment practice group of a large international law firm based in New York City where he worked extensively with employers on a variety of labor and employment matters, including complex corporate restructurings and mergers and acquisitions. He also spent several years in London, England where he qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and studied UK employment law. While in law school, Louis served as an Articles Editor for the George Washington University Journal of International Law and Economics and was a member of the George Washington University Law School Moot Court Board.

R. Michelle Tatum

Michelle Tatum concentrates her practice on representing management in employment matters.

Her focus includes cases involving discrimination and harassment in the workplace, retaliation against whistleblowers, and violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act. She also handles claims involving the FLSA, FMLA, and the WARN Act. She represents employers in a variety of industries, including construction, medical practices, management, insurance, and not-for-profit organizations.

Prior to joining FordHarrison, Michelle served as a judicial staff attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit in Jacksonville, Florida, where she oversaw the operation of the Criminal Division.

Michelle sits on the Board of Directors for the University of North Florida Alumni Association.
